The plow has savaged this sweet field
Misshapen clods of earth kicked up
Rocks and twisted roots exposed to view
Last year’s growth demolished by the blade.
I have plowed my life this way
Turned over a whole history
Looking for the roots of what went wrong
Until my face is ravaged, furrowed, scarred.
Enough. The job is done.
Whatever’s been uprooted, let it be
Seedbed for the growing that’s to come.
I plowed to unearth last year’s reasons-
The farmer plows to plant a greening season.
May there be contentment and peace so we all may prosper. #Blessings

had the honor of meeting Artist Donna Dowless. Her priceless works are hung in the Grand Bohemian Gallery in Orlando, Florida. A #MustSee, if I may say – not just to view, but the gift of experiencing her soulful work and the passionate energy that surges and embraces you – even if only for a moment! So, #Love and more #Love to all! #Itfeelsogood
This image is a gift of gratitude to Donna, a photo taken by friend Buck Allen and I played with the image digitally to bring it to this image to thank Donna. So moved by seeing her work, meeting her and knowing that by sharing others would know that too!
it’s not even that time of year. Yet, I run across a few photos I took of Santa which take me to a special place. A place where the dreams begin and the excitement surges – knowing without knowing all…believing the intuitiveness and allowing the energy through thoughts, words and activity to make it reality. And then there is just that – reality!
Be it known (or repeated) – living by the sea is the land of harmony!
Nothing but the excitement of lights in the dark air and the thrill of the ride!
On the shoreline she offers her soul
Some may see her as broken
But there is one
Her beauty infuses into the depths of another
Claiming the energy of the natural spirit and the treasures untold

The National Zoo – A spectacular place to share special moments with family, friends and self.
The animals, accustomed to the masses, really do engage. Their personalities abound, only if the time is spent to listen, observe and connect.
It is that moment, the connection, that ignites the soul!
On this day, I was privileged to connect, and much like Dr. Doolittle. They watched me watch them. They talked to me while I watched them. And they motioned and moved while I solely stood in amazement, wondering what they would’ve doing in their natural habitat.
I hold respect beyond words for living beings on this earth. I am blessed to have continual joy of the moments of connection, that ground my soul to God.
Some-time(s) everything comes together to just happen. That moment and realization of that is profound. “It” stops you and infuses a peace, a joy, recognition of a special place, time, and feeling. Often leaving you bewildered and curious, beyond measure or understanding. That inspiration and motivation that life is amazing and beautifully unique to me!
